Easter Remembrance Week

Hi all! As you all know, the next few weeks are important ones for Christians as we prepare to remember and commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ during Easter week. During this week we take the time to remember that Jesus, out of love for us, died for our sins and rose again, offering salvation and new life to all who call on Him in faith. For us here at Crossroads, and in other Christian churches in Ireland and around the world, there is nothing more significant than this! So we are going to be commemorating this week in a couple of different ways, and we would like to let you know about what is going on and remind everyone that all are welcome to come to any of these events.

Sunday March 20th is Palm Sunday, and we are having a Sunday morning service as usual this day with a message from the Bible specifically about Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem a few days before His crucifixion. The Bible tells us that one of the most special things that happened during those few days was the Last Supper, during which Jesus and His disciples took part in the first communion service and Jesus famously washed his disciples' feet. To commemorate this at Crossroads, we are going to be holding a special service at the centre on Good Friday, the 25th of March. We will be meeting from 6-7:30 PM to have a meal together, to take part in communion of the bread and the cup, and at the end to follow Jesus' example in a foot-washing service (to be done within families, for those who would like to take part). Then on Saturday the 26th, at 6-7:30PM, we will be holding a special service of praise and worship at the centre, which will include worship songs and Bible readings centred on the theme of "The Wonderful Cross." And of course, we will be having a service on Easter Sunday, the 27th of March, at the normal Sunday morning worship time. Please feel free to come along to any of these events, everyone is more than welcome! If you would like more information about any of these events, feel free to contact Caleb at crossroadschurchdublin@gmail.com or on 0873649326.

Lastly, we would also like to make everyone aware that the Cafe at Crossroads will be closed for a couple of days over the next few weeks. Keep in mind that the Cafe is always closed on Saturday and Sunday. The hours for the Cafe are listed here:
